Sequencing Learning With Purpose

I have contributed to curriculum mapping by aligning objectives with the UK curriculum and Cambridge Primary framework and ensuring progression across terms, with cross-curricular links and built-in differentiation.

  • Long- and medium-term sequencing across terms
  • An English unit integrating reading, grammar and writing around instruction writing
  • Systematic phonics during Levelled Reading periods
  • Guided reading using decoding, fluency and comprehension strategies

Contributing Beyond My Classroom

I plan and lead initiatives that build pupil confidence, expression and a sense of belonging across the school.

  • Planned and led class assemblies on values and character education
  • Selected to present a class skit at whole-school Prize Day
  • Co-organised the Spelling Bee and Expanding Your Lexicon competitions
  • Coached Student Council members for speeches and presentations

Coordinating Academic Competitions

As activity coordinator for the HRCA, IKMC and ICATS national academic competitions, I managed the full cycle end to end.

  • Liaising with organisers and promoting participation
  • Coordinating student registrations
  • Organising and invigilating assessments
  • Submitting completed papers
  • Communicating outcomes and certificates to pupils and parents
