What it is
An exit ticket is a quick formative assessment tool used at the end of a lesson to check pupils’ understanding and identify misconceptions.
How I use it
Through a short task, question or reflection, I gather immediate feedback on what children have learned, what they need further support with and how I should adapt future teaching.
What it changes
I use exit tickets to inform planning, provide targeted support and ensure that every child’s learning needs are addressed.
